My Journey

Passionate about the mineral world and stones since always. Trained in Earth Science (Mater degree) and in geological and mining engineering at the Polytechnic Institute of Lorraine in France. I have worked in the metallic and non-metallic mineral extraction industry for over 25 years. Always passionate about gems, I have also completed a level 2 gemologist certificate at the French Gemmology Institute and trained as a lapidary since 2018. My passion is to discover gems myself in the field but also to be able to facet them and mount them into jewelry.  I also have a great interest in traveling and meeting miners, particularly in South America.  I buy minerals directly from miners and locals, often raw and sometimes already faceted so that I can then assemble them into jewelry. I like the idea of ​​being able to offer jewelry that carries the whole history of the stone, from its extraction to its setting and including the human contact of the miners.  The stones purchased and negotiated with the locals are acquired with mutual respect and in a fair manner. Stones are gushing sources of color and light that I like to see magnified until they are worn by a buyer.
